2. Use of the Service

Portal Card Scanner is provided for personal and non-commercial use. You agree not to:

Use the service for data scraping or automated information collection.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the artificial intelligence.
Use the app for illegal purposes or to violate intellectual property rights.

3. Disclaimer and Limitations

Accuracy: Card prices and data are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that prices are accurate, complete, or updated in real-time.

Financial Decisions: We are not responsible for any financial losses or decisions made based on the information provided by the app.

"As Is" Service: The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be free from interruptions or technical errors.

4. Intellectual Property and Affiliations

Portal Card Scanner is a fan-made tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by any of the following rights holders:

Nintendo / The Pokémon Company — owners of the Pokémon trademark and related IP.
Bandai / Toei Animation — owners of One Piece and Dragon Ball trademarks and related IP.
Konami — owner of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trademark and related IP.
Panini / Topps / other Football card publishers — owners of Football card licences and imagery.
TCGPlayer, Amazon, eBay — independent marketplaces referenced within the app.

All trademarks, character names, card images, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used here purely for identification and fan reference purposes.

🆕 Version 2.0 — Sports Accessories Affiliate Partnerships:
In Version 2.0, the Football Card scanning mode will include affiliate links to sports accessories retailers via the Awin affiliate network. Partner brands may include Nike, Adidas, Puma, Decathlon, New Balance, and others. Portal Card Scanner is an independent affiliate and is not sponsored, endorsed, or employed by any of these brands. Affiliate commissions help support the free development of the app.

5. Affiliate Link Disclosure

Portal Card Scanner participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means that when you click certain links within the app (to TCGPlayer, Amazon, eBay, or — in Version 2.0 — sports accessories retailers via Awin), we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase. This commission is at no additional cost to you.

We only recommend products and services we believe are relevant and useful to our users. Affiliate partnerships do not influence the card scan results, pricing data, or app features.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever changes are made.
